Ju Ming Sculpting the Living World 刻畫人間, 朱銘 (outside) (Mar 2014)

Have to visit there in day time again(until 15 June 2014), also wanna visit Ju Ming Museum in Taipei! "Ju Ming - Sculpting the Living World" is the first large-scale solo exhibition of the world-acclaimed artist Ju Ming in Hong Kong. All exhibits belong to the Living World Series, in which Ju Ming uses different materials to create sculptures that portray the stories of daily life, and people's different roles in family and our society. The exhibition gathers 120 sets of artwork in wood, ceramics, stone, bronze and stainless steel, together they elaborate on the evolution of the Living World Series since its inception 30 years ago, revealing the artist's observation and reflection on contemporary life. 「刻畫人間 — 朱銘雕塑大展」是國際知名華人藝術家朱銘首次於香港藝術館舉辦的大型個展。是次展覽展出的《人間系列》是他最重要的作品系列之一，當中人物造型取材於日常生活、人們的家庭、工作崗位等範疇，以不同物料雕刻出塵世的種種面貌。展覽以120套木、陶、石、銅、不鏽鋼等不同物料的雕塑，呈現《人間系列》30年來的演變，展現朱銘對當下生活的觀察以及反思。 http://hk.art.museum/
