Over & Under the Rainbow – A Windfall 飛越和穿梭彩虹 ─ 意外收獲
A double Rainbow
It is definitely a surprise to see the double Rainbow this evening (19 June 2012, Tue, the 1st day of May, Chinese calendar)!
Originally I planned to take a minibus to Hollywood Plaza for the movie “Prometheus” (yes, for the heaper tickets on every Tuesday especially the 3D movie). Too bad, I waited for 15 minutes (my limit for any transportation) then I changed my mind. I went to Festival Walk via another minibus. After the little typhoon, thick white clouds were staying in the clear blue Sky.
While talking to a friend at Festival Walk, I saw many people taking cameras near the window aisle, also many people at one floor downstairs which is a balcony facing the Kowloon Tong railway station.
Wow, it is a Rainbow! Wait, it is a double Rainbow!
I apologized to my friend and rushed to the window aisle, took a few photos immediately. People were smiling while taking photos, even strangers talking with others (I was one of those actually ^_^). Then I went one floor downstairs, still some drizzles, I tried to catch the last glimpse of rainbow which was fading …
I could not help tears rolling down on my face … so touched to see lovely kids yelling, clapping hands, saying “Beautiful Rainbow!”! An elderly woman took the hand of her grand-daughter, said: “Look at the rainbow! I don’t see it often even at my age!”
Thank you God! I was not supposed to be there to witness your beautiful gift! Suddenly, I realize this is God’s message which is exactly my “life pattern” these 2 decades! The message is, “Whenever I plan to do ‘A’, something happens, then I have to change my plan to ‘B’, even ‘C’, ‘D’ or ‘E’! Somehow, the new plan turns out to be better, it is a Windfall!”

馬奎斯 (Gabriel García Márquez) 的短篇小說《異鄉客》(Strange Pilgrims) 內的一個短篇小說 ─《我只是來借個電話》(I only came to use the phone) 。
「我只是來借電話」描述名叫瑪麗亞的墨西哥女子，在巴塞隆納發生的不幸、荒謬事件。某日，她在返家旅途遇到一場暴風雨，汽車拋錨後想與丈夫聯絡，意外地搭上一輛巴士，被迫滯留在古老、與世隔絕的精神病患療養院裡。直到近二十年後不知所終。

Thank you all! So funny/encouraging to view the comments (+ve more than -ve!) ... one said I look like the comedian/actress Chu Mi-Mi, hahaha! Actually when i was a partime waitress at a French restaurant 10 yrs ago, a "ma lung lo" client said I looked like Chu Mi-Mi young version, he said she's "Miss Singapore" when she's young; then his friend said I looked like "Miss HK Kwok Sin-Lei". What a big difference:)
Can't believe it's youtube “selection (精選)” no. 4 (from 32,000 to 39,000 within 12 hrs) on 23 April! Amazingly, one week after posting on 20 April, it reaches over 58,000 on 27 April. Thank you for all your support and encouragement!

多謝各位愛戴！ 我只是一名什麼也不成功的熟女、剩女、敗犬、中年發福小女子，在家人心中是一事無成的人 … 只有源源不絕的傻氣和勇氣！爽報記者呂小姐寫得很好，但有要澄清的地方 ─ 我不是去美國向他示愛，因他已向我示愛 ─ 約定下年聖誕在峇里(或在香香港會臉先)見，再往耶加達見他父母兄姊。我心想：「不是今年十二月，是下年十二月，有無耐d？！」
再者最近他有重要家事，可能要隨時回印尼，我才鼓起勇氣向他說我可去美國或印尼陪伴他 ─作為「末日論」的我，是不是很傻？
